About Us

Root In and Reconnect.

Gathering Roots curates intentional programs and retreats at the intersection of modern sciences and ancient shamanic practices, for women & leaders navigating burnout, transition, and conscious leadership.

Philosophy

Connection

Humans heal in relationship — with each other, with place, and with the land. And community is the way we move to creating a world that feels aligned and equitable for each of us.

Ceremony

Transformation occurs when the inner work peels through the layers that keep us in familiar patterns. Ceremony is how we reconnect with the divine and our higher self.

Contemplation

Life unfolds in cycles and answers are often puzzle pieces when we look back to connect the dots. In moments of contemplation, we see clearly the answers that are right in front of us.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Divya — founder of Gathering Roots.

I was born in India and raised between cultures, expectations, and systems. Early experiences of loss, immigration, and heartbreak shaped how I learned to survive. As a South Asian woman, I’ve had to deprogram cultural narratives around identity, worth, and what it means to create a life on my own terms.

On paper, everything worked. In my body, it didn’t.

Burnout and patterns of self abandonment showed up as disconnection from my body, my intuition, and performing to be enough. What changed my life wasn’t another therapy session or meditation retreat. It was stepping away from familiar structures and into intentional time with land, ceremony, and community.

Gathering Roots was born from that experience.

I strongly believe that the world is in a real need of conscious women & leaders, authentically aligned to their higher purpose, and brave enough to demand a more equitable way of life.

I am grateful for an opportunity to support you on this journey and look forward to connecting!
